How long can FrogTape be left on before I need to take it off of the surface?

Taking the painter’s tape off while the paint is wet just after painting is recommended for best results. Use a razor blade to score along the tape’s edge before removing. Breaking the seal between the tape along with the paint provides quicker removal and a cleaner line.



Why won’t my FrogTape stick to the walls?

If your walls have been freshly painted and your tape isn’t sticking, this may mean the paint hasn’t fully cured. If the surface was improperly prepared, another reason it can lift off the wall is if it had been stretched as you applied it. Preparing the area carefully is essential to making sure it is exempt from dust. Use a wall primer as your first step to make sure paint will bond properly and all blemishes are looked after.
